Too narrow for me
Pros: Vibram sole feels strong and gives a sense of security. The color gray and green looks nice. Also this shoe is not as bulky as others which often make my legs look like stilts. I liked the gray/green color though. Cons: The insoles are thin and flimsy providing little to no comfort. For th...

Loyal Speedgoat user for years and so disappointed
I've been using the Speedgoat since version 2, skipping the year of the slicing tongue, loved the 5s. The 6s are a complete overhaul and it's not a good change. Most important is sizing changed, I was a 7.5 in previous Speedgoats, so that's what I ordered, they are too short. I should have gotten an...

Speedgoat 6 fail
I buy Hokas on my podiatrist's recommendation, and my Speedgoat 4 and 5's were so cushiony I felt I had pillows on my feet, and the neutral footbed is great. Not so with the Speedgoat 6! The hard sole is instantly painful. I've worn these indoors for a few days, hoping the comfort would improve, but not so. Back they go! Please bring back the cushiony sole. Any other comfortable recommendations for hiking and scrambling?

Shoes wear out quickly and they won't honor their warranty
This is the second pair of Speedgoat Hoka's I've purchased. They both started wearing out behind the heel within about 4 months and by about 6 months they were giving me blisters. I though the first pair was a fluke so I bought another pair, because they are so comfy, but for the price, they don't last and I will not buy Hokas again. I tried their warranty thinking it was a no brainer and was denied because they said it was due to normal wear and tear. I'm sorry, but I am not even running in these and no shoe should wear through in the first few months with light-moderate use. Total bummer :(

Official Response by HOKA ONE ONE
When your pair doesn't hold up as expected, we know it is frustrating as our goal is for you to fly for miles. Due to many varied factors such as terrain, frequency of wear and natural elements, sliding your foot into and out of the shoe without unlacing them, some pairs may wear quicker than others. Although we do cover manufacturing and material defects, normal wear and tear is not covered under our warranty. Unfortunately, we are not able to override the warranty department's decision. My feet hurt after one mile
The tongue slips and my feet hurt so bad after one mile hiking. I usually wear a 9 but I had to buy an 11.

I love Hoka and color
lcall these my Kansas City Chief shoes. When I ordered them I never realize how close they are to the Chief's colors. God job
Disappointed, didn't work for me! ☹️
I love HOKA shoes; have several pairs, but the Speedgoat 6 is sadly uncomfortable! Like other reviews, the 5 version was much better! The shoe lacks cushion, poor support around the ankles, tongue too flat and short. Okay for flat surfaces, but any rocky angles, my ankles would role slightly. After a 3.5 mile hike my feet and knees hurt! Sending these back! 🫤

What did you do to my beloved speedgoats??
This is my 5th pair of speedgoats, but first speedgoat 6. I have absolutely loved all previous versions of this shoe. I have told everyone who will listen (and some who won't) about how much I loved Hoka speedgoats. No more though. I used to be able to take a pair out of the box and go straight in a 10 mile hike. No breaking in. Felt like I was wearing slippers. Not with the 6s! I've been wearing them as much as I can stand for the last 1.5 months and I'm giving up. My feet hurt after just minutes of wearing them to run errands. I definitely won't be wearing them for hiking. I wish I had bought them on Hoka.com so I could return them. Ignore my choices of how they fit. In some ways they feel wide, in others narrow. Same for length. Honestly, horrible shoe

Yep - love my Hoka's.
The process of ordering and receiving my Hoka's was quick and easy.
Not a good update
I've been wearing Speedgoats since the 2. I still have a pair of 2's that I pull out rarely and still love. The 3's were good. The Evo's were my all time favorites. The 4's were horribly stiff. The 5's were good, but the midsole deadened out really quickly. At first I really liked the 6's, except that they have gotten substantially wider in the toe box since the 2's. If they go any wider, I'll have to find a new shoe. So I was already dealing with the shoe being a bit sloppier in the forefoot than I wanted. I bought 2 pairs of the 6's then pretty soon after had to take substantial time off from running due to a knee injury. Now that I'm back walking again in them, both pairs have blown out at the medial side of the toe box. Neither of these pairs have more than 100 miles on them and most of it walking. My son, who also got a pair for trail running, had the same issue in less than 50 miles. Please redo this upper ASAP!!! (And please reduce the width just a smidge.) Or just bring back the EVO.

Disappointed
I've had 3 pairs of Speedgoats in the past that were very comfortable and had good cushioning. I don't like the revised models, they are too stiff and not enough cushioning in the sole. I've had these shoes almost 2 1/2 months.
